Day 1 : Arrival to Cappadocia region. Meet our proffessional guide. Transfer to hotel. After c-in Turkish Hammam is waiting for you with scrup and foam massage.

TURKISH BATH (HAMMAM)

Hosting guests in Hammam is a tradition. The tradition of the Turkish bath extends far back, to a time before Turks had reached Anatolia. When the Turks arrived in Anatolia, they brought with them one bathing tradition, and were confronted with another that of Romans and Byzantines, with certain local variants. The traditions merged, and with the addition of the Moslem concern for cleanliness and its concomitant respect for the uses of water, there arose an entirely a new concept, that of the Turkish bath.

The Hammam ceremony is started by wearing ‘’ pestemal ‘’. Then you can lie on the heated marble slab to sweat. Kese and massage applications are applied by tellak (rubber). Dead layer of skin is cleaned by kese application and it provides your skin breath easily. It hastens blood stream and relaxes body. Turkish Hamam also features a steam room.

Day 2 : After breakfast we will depart from hotel and our first meeting with lunar landscape one of the most famous highlights of Turkey.

Göreme Valley “open air museum” is a nicely packaged instant version of what the whole area has to offer with its bizarre and charming churches and chapels carved into stone. It also holds the region's best collection of painted cave churches. Medieval orthodox Christian monks (1000 - 1200 AD) carved the caves from the soft volcanic stone and decorated them with elaborate Byzantine frescoes. The valley, and other troglodyte ("cave- dweller") habitations in Cappadocia, may have been inhabited since Hittite times, but Göreme is known for its thousand-year-old churches.

Then, head to the next destination of today’s adventure –

Pasabag Valley contains some of the most striking fairy chimneys in Cappadocia with twin and even triples rock caps. This style is unique even for Cappadocia and these fairy chimneys are named mushroom shaped fairy chimneys. Some of them split into smaller cones in their upper sections, in which hermits once hid. The hermitage of Simeon monks was also here. A chapel dedicated to St. Simeon (Simon), and a hermit’s shelter is built into one of the fairy chimneys with three heads.

Avanos - then, visiting the artisans and carpet factory in the traditional rock carved village of Avanos, this village famous for its’ red pottery and traditional Turkish carpets. In one of the most famous potteries guests will first see a demonstration from the professionals before they will have a chance to make their own ‘Symbol of art’ – let that artist free inside you!

At the carpet factory guests will be introduced to the facinating prosess of the weaving of the famous Turkish carperts and then, enjoy unforgettble show of the demostration of the most beautiful sample.

We will return to hotel and take a spa package.

STEAM ROOM + SKIN CARE

Steam Room works according to the basis of high humidity – low temperature unlike saunas and it has beneficial effects. It provides soft and smooth skin in addition to relaxation and a special therapy. It includes special herbal therapies with its essences. Aroma steam bath provides an ideal therapy for people especially who have respiration problems.

After steam room you may chance to take a skin care cure to end of the day

Day 3 : We will visit today after breakfast ;

Underground city of Kaymakli, is the widest underground city of Cappadocia region, it was carved out underneath a rock hill (Kaymakli Castle). The first three floors were probably carved out by Hittites about 2000 B.C. After that; Assyrians, Lycians, Persians, Kimmerians settled down in the region. The Romans occupied the region in the beginning of the 1st. Century B.C. Roman empire accepted Christian Religion in 376 A.D. In the underground city there are some main galleries and inside them same sub division were carved out make the city very complicated to make the enemies confused. There were also some wide areas where some of the important matters were talked and ceremonies were hold. The ventilation shaft is vertical and passes all floors down like on the elevator in an apartment. The depth of the ventilation shaft is about 120 meters in total. The underground city was originally carved out as eight floors, how ever four floors are visit able. In war time about 5000 people found refuge in.

Not For the Claustrophobic.

Pigeon Valley – is one of the most amazing places ever been seen; the rock formations, combined with awe inspiring views. The Pigeon Valley in Cappadocia consists of plenty of pigeon houses. In ancient days, pigeons were trained in this region to deliver letters and messages which was a major mode of communication. The pigeon droppings were also used as fuel and fertilizers. Travelers come to this place to see a wide variety of architectural structures. The pigeon houses are carved in rocks. The wonderful architecture constructed amidst the idyllic landscape makes it a magnificent sight. Chimneys have been craved in the rocks. The chimneys consist of caves which were used as hiding places for Christians who escaped from the Romans.

Uchisar Castle - The top of the Uchisar Castle provides a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area with Mount Erciyes in the distance. Many rooms hollowed out into the rock are connected to each other with stairs, tunnels and passages. At the entrances of the rooms, there are millstone doors, just like the ones in the underground settlements, used to control access to these places.
